Last saturday, my friends from BYO (Yearbook) invited me to this READ or DIE Convention which the sister of my boss organized somewhere in Glorietta.

i was supposed to work last saturday kaya naka-pambahay lang ako. CSB lets students enter school basta hindi ka naka Y-Slippers and Sandos.

i went with them not realizing na sa HOTEL INTERCONTINENTAL pala yung event.

i was thinking they would not let me inside because im in full pambahay attire...with a rugged sling bag. who would believe i came from school unless i really came from UP. (probably i'd still be in casual not pambahay in events like this)

i entered the hotel taas-noo...projecting i had a room upstairs. Weirdly and funny enough, the door people inspected the bags of my friends... then said hello to me. HAHAHAHA akala nga yata nila mayamang gago ako living there (with american looking hair and all).

"good afternoon sir." sabi ng doorman.

"Yes." naman ang sagot ko hahahahaha

dahil hindi ko nakilala si Gerry Alanguilan at first glance, i opted to buy (thanks to Mae-ann) the Silent Dragon graphic novel as pakunswelo hehe. sa kanya ako nagtanong kung what time magsasara ang event.

"hanggang what tong event?" paangas kong nasabi habang lumilingon sa ibang lugar nakikinig sa mga tanong nung Book Quizmaster.

"hanggang 8pm po sir...ay 7 pala"
sabi nung lalakeng mukhang architect.

"ok." --walkout

I was beside Eis. "mito, si gerry yan..."

"(Gerry yan? F4?! ngayon ko lang naisip hahaha)Alam ko...nakalagay sa id nya eh" agad ko namang sagot. Then it struck me... sya pala yung gumawa nitong graphic novel na'to. hahaha  (Bumili narin ako nung Marvel Illuminati)

kaninang umaga, when i was being made hatid by the father...may sunog sa buendia. Unfortunately, wala na akong camera; binigay ko na sa kapatid ko. Sayang... it was a tabloid-ic moment. Wala pang firetrucks at media... AKO PALANG! damnit.

Especially with a bit of sarcasm at the side, it never fails to show what a person is made of.

After all, with all the annoyance, resentment and rage brewing within, social norms and all those interpersonal etiquettes are just preservatives set aside. We would do everything just to get a taste of what is genuine, the taste we would want to share.

I practice myself preparing good recipes and presentations.

Should everything be placed in a platter with everything in it? Should i keep some for dessert? or should i serve only few? should i prepare napkins? should i turn it into a buffet? or serve it well-done? or simply raw?

I watch people and learn how they serve, how they put things on the table, how they cook.

Some are cold, some are bland, some...i don't even what. Some serve too soon, some...not at all.

Then i would think; would ask myself, was it worthwhile?

Then i would grab a new plate and come back for more.

Anger, best served hot...or better yet, Sizzling.

how i looooove controversy.

if i am to quote the only priest i've talked to in my life correctly, it was "some of the worst things came from the best intentions".

i cant help but react to things that are happening today. After all, being semi-part of that, makes me wonder where do i have to stand.

im very biased to the person, and i've firmly believed some where fabricated.

i'm standing against it.

now i'm going to say, "bato bato sa langit, ang tamaan...guilty"

if this made any sense, probably you know what i'm talking about. 

i just had to react. maybe after this im going to have my head chopped off.
