Since the return of the longest movie series, pinilit naming subaybayan ito para malaman kung may pagkakaiba ba ito sa mga nakaraang versions(?) nito (storyline,artista,production,enjoyment)

Okray nato! Pero may good points naman kahit papano. kung kasama ka sa gumawa ng palabas na ito, wag  mo na basahin ito, mag-aaway tayo  hahaha [written in tagalog para mas feel]

PART I – 13^th Floor
(Keanna Reeves and co.)

Mapapansin natin dito na bumalik si Isay Alvarez (dating kasama sa ATBP. – awit,titik,bilang at iba pa) sa pag-arte, kasama ang asawa in real life na si Robert Seña.

Bibili sila ng isang LUMANG bahay (SIGAW-richard gutierrez) at gagawin itong kaaya-aya. (renovation ekek).

And so on and so forth. May mumu dahil may masamang nangyari sa bahay. Blah blah blah.

Ang hindi ko naiintindihan kung bakit kailangan laging comedy ang magiging resulta nito. Baka dahil ang mga artistang ginamit mo ay pawang mga komedyante. Keanna Reeves, Bearwin Meily, Janus Del Prado et.al, na kung saan mapapasigaw ka dahil sa katatawa.

At bakit laging may landi scenes sa horror? Magpropose ba daw si Joseph Bitangcol kay Roxanne Guinoo habang hinahabol sila ng horror kids.

Andito rin pala ang usual mga  lumulutang na items…at brownout; ang hindi mawala-wala sa horror movies sa pilipinas.

PART II – Yaya
(Nash Aguas, Iza Calzado)

Boto ako kay Nash bilang maging best child performer…(palibhasa ditto lang ata may batang gumanap…at sa part na ito lang talagang may big part ang isang bata)

Paghaluhaluin natin si Dennis the Menace, Kevin McKallister(HOME ALONE-caulkin, hindi ko alam spelling ng pangalan nya hanggang ngayon) at Aiza Seguerra. Bibong bata… panalo. Kahit si Iza (wow, first name basis) halimaw rin (literally and artistically) galing talaga umarte. Wag lang gasgasin…kahit gasgas na.

Ang yaya pala ng bata ay isang monster. At ang bata ang makakatalo dito (ASWANG-Alma Moreno) Best performance din pala ang maaring igawad kay Saver…ang aso na marunong umarte (hahaha)

Ngunit,subalit,datapwat,samakatuwid… ang gusto kong maging title ng part na ito ay GREMLINS (haha) mukha kasing gremlin ang monster na kalaban nila.

At sino ang biglang makakatulog habang nagaayos ng damit. (mga narcoleptic sabi ni jaja) mind you, nagkwekwento pa siya ng mga horror horror-an. Sayang ang acting ni Nene Tamayo (PBB Season 1 winner)

PART III – LRT
(Manilyn Reynes, Keempee de Leon)

Dito pwede ko purihin ang powers ni Mother Lily. Location palang, LRT2 station. Isiping nakapagshoot ka dun, nagbasag ng bintana ng isang LRT, naglakad sa mismong rails, at sirain ang mismong LRT train.

Ang storyline, may maraming taong mastranded sa isang Lrt station pag-sara nito, tapos isa-isang mamamatay (tipong I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, URBAN LEGEND at kung ano ano pang whodunit movies) tapos pag nakita mo na ang monster ay mapapaisip ka, THE VILLAGE na kamukha ng halimaw.

Hindi nga lang consistent ang style ng monster. Malalaman nating sa sound nakakapaghanap ng kakainin ala mga paniki (or TREMORS movie) pero may parts na wala namang ingay pero nakakapatay siya.

Ang mga artista din pala ay isang trait per person, walang growth or change…(wag nila sabihing maikli lang kaya mahirap ang character development…ang mga videopr projects, 5 mins, may development na) Si Mico Palanca, sigaw lang ng sigaw…AS IN!. SI Eugene Domingo, dasal ng dasal hanggang sa namatay, yung lalaking maputi, flirting hanggang tinuhog ang dibdib. Andito parin ang lovestory sa gitna ng nagbubulwakang mga dugo sa pader, damit, etc.

Basta bilib ako sa location.

Pwede mo rin pala ito ihalintulad sa urban legend ni Rubina… ang babaeng ahas na matatagpuan daw sa ilalim ng Robinson’s Galleria… na muntik nang kumain kay Alice Dixon. Hahahaha

 

All in all, ang Shake, Rattle and Roll ay isang feel good movie. (ok nay un kaysa noon… na isang comedy film) hahaha

shet ang haba nito. at least mas mild ang review ko ngayon. please forgive the typos. wala pala akong ginawa sa sinehan kundi tumawa hahaha

our prof wanted us to have a list of 101 things to do or achieve. [disqualifying all extreme/weird things already done before, in my case, not sleep for day, inhale 2 packs worth of yosi, bash my head into a rock, fit inside a box, not eat for 2 days...and the like]
among my list were
- to eat any kind of salad
- to pay for my own tuition
- to buy 10 more pairs of shoes
- to appear in a legit print ad
- to donate to an advocacy thing
- not to watch porn for a month...shit maybe 2 weeks hahaha

and so, i ate the mcdo salad a while ago. not bad. 100 things to go.

(this prof's kinda cool even if she's like a super chatterbox. weird enough, i'm learning new things from her...although it's not about the subject anymore haha. she likes to talk, and i mean TALK!)

because i had all the time in the world last weekend [until now] i've watched quite a few movies.

was supposed to watch "pursuit of happyness" pero the dvd was sira. boo!

1. ERAGON - wut? Mr. Frodo is that you? and i never thought they wore jeans during the AGE of DRAGONS. crappy lines.

2. SHALL WE DANCE - for those who live under a rock, the movie is based from a japanese chenes...ness. I wanted to grab JLO's butt. shetness. now i want to learn how to tango...again (yes, i've danced quite some time during my HS years...ballroom dance that is) *look for ja rule

3. THE FOUNTAIN - ART FILM!!! do i have to explain further? :D creepy story about death, death, and more death. and rachel weisz  being a super good looking queen. (drag parts yung present timeline, i loved the conquistador timeline)

4. LONELY HEARTS - i can love Salma Hayek to death. spanish accent is hot. hahaha a movie on flirting and manipulation...my kind of style :D (may mga konting loopholes)

5. BLOOD DIAMOND - still cant believe Leo from Titanic is the same with Leo here. ang daming barilan, ang daming dugo, ang daming barilan, and daming dugo. (laughable yung accent nya dito)

6. BABEL - *claps* still can't get over CRASH kaya dun parin ako boto. ayaw ko lang ang parts ni Brad Pitt (dragging; natakot na naman ako sa mga deaf people) great movie nonetheless lalo sa part nung japanese.

i am not going to okray anything :D mabait ako today. [lang]

plus! wala akong nakitang bed scenes sa mga movies...except for Lonely Hearts (na nakakatakot, imagine having sex while there's a person na nagaagaw-buhay sa tabi with blood splattering everywhere.)
